About Supertek
Supertek, a think tank from Northern Germany, has been developing innovative solutions and setting standards since 2005. Founded by Gerd Janssen, a visionary and engineer, Supertek emerged from a passion for technology and progress. Even during his studies in electrical engineering, Janssen had a groundbreaking idea: the development of the electromagnetic dancer, a revolutionary wire tension control system that would redefine the wire industry.
With this invention, Supertek won the Lower Saxony Startup Award and presented a world premiere at the wire trade fair in Düsseldorf in 2008.
"The success was overwhelming. The response to the electromagnetic dancer and the specially developed fully electronic winding machine was so great that our small booth could hardly handle the rush."
What began as a demonstration quickly evolved into a new business area. Since then, Supertek has offered fully electronic pay-off, take-up, and rewinding systems that stand for precision and innovation in the industry.
